Guadalajara Mexico 1867

 

A city of Mexico and capital of the State of Jalisco. Local stamps were issued in 1867 for the republican government. They exist for Cuernavaca and Guadalajara. Other locals are bogus items. These stamps are rare and expensive. They were apparently created with a cancelling device Genuine Stamps Genuine stamps are all M.E.P.S.I. certified. His is the recommended certifier foe México.
