St. Vincent Forgeries

 The first stamps of this issue didn't have any watermark (from 1861 to 1871).
Genuine imperforate stamps are proofs.
The stamps have a variety of perfs, bisects and overprints all of which have been forged.

Very well executed & dangerous. Engraved with watermark.
Border under name is irregular, 1/ stamp "G" has a crossbar not in originals. Colors are deeper than originals. Fake cancel is typical of the period.
